About Safefood Solutions

Safefood Solutions Limited, is run by Husband and wife team Geoff and Christine Tookey.  Managing Director, Geoff Tookey MIH is a training provider with over 35 years of experience. Geoff is the co-founder and chairman of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health regional forum for Food Safety and Health & Safety trainers in South Wales and currently serves on the British Culinary Federation Committee of Management.

Geoff spent his early catering career working in some of the UKs best hotels and fine dining restaurants, rising to the position of Executive Head Chef catering for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, other heads of state and many celebrities.

Geoff has also gained extensive catering management experience within both the education and healthcare sector, and he has featured in both the national press and on BBC radio.

Christine Tookey RN BSc PGCE is a training provider with over forty years of nursing experience involved in supervising and training junior nursing staff. Christine has worked within a wide range of care settings including The Prince of Wales Orthopaedic Hospital and Cardiff Royal Infirmary as part of her career development. Christine has extensive clinical management experience in both hospitals and the community.
